We hope that this website will be of interest to anyone researching their Aldous family history.  We are continuing to add information as and when it becomes available.  The emphasis is on the family groups located in the North of England, but we will be glad to add any family group, at home or abroad, that can be linked to our family tree. You will find information about the origin of the family name, details of our Suffolk origins and the family groups that decided to make the move north and to other regions, during the Industrial Revolution of the mid-nineteenth century.
